can my boyfriend motility in? Hi all, would similar to take your opinion on the issue: I will have my bf move to switzerland next month, right now i m sharing a flat with 2 bedrooms and big living room almost total 100 square meters with another guy. in my rental contract, it says ii persons living in the apartment. and so can my young man come to live with me for just 3 months? if the landlord doesnt agree what he can do?

I do non see why non if he his only visiting for 3 months, i often have family come and stay for long menstruum of times, and i have never had a complaint, ask your flatmate if he as a problem with information technology, and if your flatmate days it is ok then i think information technology would be ok

As she is an intern, and on a brusk term lease, maybe she has unlike contractual regulations. Still, it seems kind of strange. Re: tin can my boyfriend move in? my flatmate is quite flexible, and we would similar to decrease his rent for my bf'southward visiting and sharing the flat. in fact my bf is not visiting me, he institute a task here , so in this case he would have to register himself in this address for at least 3 months. so we decided to find new apartment since 1st October, and will give the notice end of june, i grand just worried about the landlord would forbid it, since i have 5000CHF deposite in his hand, he might deduct some by saying i didnt obey the contract by letting someone living in for three months.

Don't worry about the deposit. He can't deduct anything from it as the business relationship the deposit is on is in your name - he only co-signed for information technology. The landlord never has direct access to rental deposits. Also, the deposit can only be used equally a security for when you suspension stuff in the flat and don't go it fixed before you move out. You won't go the eolith released earlier you paid for everything that needed to exist fixed. If the landlord doesn't allow your boyfriend to stay with you, all he can do is let you know in writing. He tin can theoretically kick you lot out but non without a lengthly mediation battle - so you're probably safe for the next couple of months in whatever case :-) peter

As long as the flat is big enough that the authorities dont intendance (and it is, but 2 people in a 1.5 causes trouble!) there would be no problem, just tape his name on the mailbox, by the fourth dimension the landlord discover out he will probably be gone. The depo is for stuff that is broken, and its not in his hand, it should be in a joint business relationship that neither tin touch without legal agreement (and cause).

When signing the contract I saw a paragraph that said that if whatever other person is going to live in my apartment with me, I need to ask beefore to the landlord. At present, in August my girlfriend is going to came to Zurich for working and living, and ofcourse, nosotros want to live together. Then, I will accept any kind of trouble with the landlord and the contract?? Thanks��

Perhaps he will improve your contract to have business relationship of the additional occupant. Best to be honest with him before your girlfriend comes. It would probably cause more problem if you try to smuggle her in and pretend she's not in that location. That is no mode to live!
